This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") outlines how Dragonfly Shipping PTY Ltd and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "Dragonfly", "we", "our", or "us") processes your personal information, as defined in the Definition of “personal information” section below. Specifically, the purpose of this Policy is to explain how and for what purposes Dragonfly collects, uses, shares or otherwise processes your personal information and how we safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information when providing our package delivery services to our clients, when you visit our Website located at https://dragonflyshipping.com.au/ ("Website") or when you communicate with us in person, by phone or by email regarding the delivery of a package from one of our clients, or apply for a professional opportunity with Dragonfly.

This Policy only applies to the handling of personal information by Dragonfly Shipping PTY Ltd. Please refer to our Privacy Policy here for further information on how Dragonfly entities in Canada and the Netherlands handle personal information.

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with this Policy, as it describes your privacy choices and how you can contact us if you have questions or would like to exercise your rights under this Policy. We respect your rights to privacy comply with all of the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (“Privacy Act”) in respect of the collection, management and disclosure of your personal information.

a. Information we collect directly from you

  • Contact and delivery information, including your name, delivery tracking number, and delivery address when you contact us with a question regarding your delivery.
  • Other personal information, including any information you may provide us when contacting us including by phone, email, in person or through our Website.

b. Information we collect about you from our clients

  • Contact information, including your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Information about your delivery, including your delivery address, delivery tracking number and the Dragonfly client from whom you are receiving a delivery.

c. Information we collect automatically

We collect information automatically when you visit our Website using technologies such as cookies and pixels. The technical information we collect when you visit our Website includes information about the device you are using, including (as applicable) your Internet, telecom or mobile carrier and service provider, IP address, device ID, the date and time of your visit, the pages of the Website you visit, and the referring URLs you came from. 4. What Happens If We Cannot Collect Your Personal Information

If you do not provide us with the personal information described above, we may not be able to provide our products or services to you (either to a certain standard or at all), we may not be able to provide you with information about products or services, and we may not be able to keep your details up to date.

We may use your personal information for general business purposes such as providing or delivering our services, managing our Website, preventing or reducing commercial risk, as well as for purposes relating to our information system or network security. We may use your personal information to administer our Website and provide our package delivery services to our clients, which, in turn, requires us to use your personal information to delivery you the packages you are being sent by our clients.

  • Evaluating your application. We may use the information you provide us as part of your application for a professional opportunity with Dragonfly when considering and responding to your application and assessing your suitability for current and future professional opportunities.

  • For other purposes permitted or required by law. We may use and/or disclose your personal information without your consent where we are legally permitted or required to do so by law, for example, to comply with a legal obligationor to protect the rights of Dragonfly or to enforce or apply our Terms of use and other agreements, or to detect, prevent and investigate suspicious, unauthorized, fraudulent, illegal or unlawful activity.

We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as set forth below or as required or permitted by applicable law.

  • Service providers. We may use service providers to perform specific services on our behalf, including contractors who handle the delivery of your packages from our stations to your delivery address, as well as providers that provide us with data hosting, processing, analytics, and other similar services. As a result, these providers may process or handle your personal information on our behalf.
  • Business transactions. We may disclose personal information to facilitate or enable any corporate or commercial transaction involving Dragonfly to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Employees and external advisors. We may disclose your personal information to our employees, related bodies corporate, and contractors, as well as professional advisors such as accountants, solicitors, business advisors and consultants for the purpose of operating our business.

7. Cross-border Transfers

We may disclose personal information to our related bodies corporate and third party suppliers and service providers located overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipients of your personal information do not breach the privacy obligations relating to your personal information. We may disclose your personal information to entities located outside of Australia, including the following:

  • our related bodies corporate, located in Canada, United States of America and Netherlands;
  • our data hosting and other IT service providers, located in Canada, United States of America and Netherlands; and
  • other third parties located in Canada, United States of America and Netherlands;

8. Your Rights to Access and Correction

You may request access to and correction of your personal information.

  • Right to access. You can ask us if we hold any personal information about you, and if so, you can request access to that personal information. We will try to provide you with suitable means of accessing your personal information (for example, by emailing it to you). We may charge you a reasonable fee to cover our administrative and other reasonable costs in providing the information to you. We will not charge for simply making the request and will not charge for making any corrections to your personal information.
